1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Academy of Business Negotiations. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

2. Description of Services

ABN offers the following products and services:

  • Online courses: Video-based B2B negotiations training
  • Digital PDF products: Guides, playbooks, and frameworks for negotiators
  • Paid newsletter: “The Negotiation Brief” – weekly B2B negotiation insights
  • Consulting services: As offered from time to time

3. Account Registration

Certain services require you to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when registering.

4. Payments and Refund Policy

Digital Products (PDF guides): All sales are final. Due to the digital nature of these products, refunds are not offered once a file has been downloaded or accessed.

Online Courses: You may request a refund within 7 days of purchase, provided you have not accessed more than 20% of the course content. No refunds will be issued after 7 days or after substantial course content has been accessed.

Newsletter Subscriptions: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused subscription periods.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this site – including course videos, written materials, PDFs, frameworks, scripts, and other materials – is the proprietary intellectual property of Academy of Business Negotiations and Ken Trent. You may not reproduce, distribute, resell, or create derivative works from any ABN content without our express written permission.

Your purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable license to access and use the purchased content for your own professional development. Sharing login credentials or distributing purchased content is strictly prohibited.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use our services for any unlawful purpose
  • Share your account access with others
  • Reproduce or redistribute our paid content
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy our course materials
  • Post or transmit any content that is harmful, offensive, or violates any third-party rights

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific results will be achieved through use of our negotiation training. Results depend on individual effort, experience, and circumstances.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ABN and Ken Trent shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Nebraska, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Nebraska.
